University of New Mexico Classical Guitar Performance Graduate 1986
Guitar Institute of Technology(GIT) Graduate 1987
Performances include the Tennessee Inaugural Ball in 1998 for Bill Clinton's second inauguration plus TV, radio, studio, night clubs, hotels, private parties, weddings & receptions, arts & crafts fairs, art gallery openings, business functions, etc, etc.
My solo guitar and vocal performance includes contemporary acoustic guitar, traditional classical guitar from Renaissance & Baroque to Spanish romantic, to jazz & jazz fusion plus excellent vocal music including Beatles, Crosby, Stills & Nash, James Taylor to Garth Brookes & Keith Urban plus numerous light romantic tunes, some Spanish ballads and some original music.
Music for me is simply a life-long love and I try very hard to provide a versatile music performance that can be appreciated by most age ranges and musical tastes.

I am always dressed professionally for all performance events.

How much time do you usually need for setup?
45 minutes is usually enough but I always like at least an hour before I start.
How much space do you usually require?
I usually take 1 Nylon String instrument for a Wedding Ceremony plus a compact Mini PA but for a wedding reception or party I usually take 3 guitars and 2 mini PAs. I will need 1 chair with no arms and 1 table for my multi effects unit and power reasonably nearby.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
I usually charge $20.00 per hour if I am traveling a long distance from Albuquerque and usually a gasoline charge which I would put into your quote.
