Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: We are young,fun,energetic and I'm all about getting the party started! We love to see everyone dancing from young kids to the older generations.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested? Limit? It's your party so request away!
What is your usual attire? Dress pants, Dress shirt, Vest and Tie.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? If I can't get the song for you, if you have it, we will figure out a way to transfer it to me. Email works best.
How many other DJs do you work with? We have three Djs total that work for Graingertainment.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? 4 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? Of course, Free consultation for all events. Will meet half way to meet you.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? We will always ask questions for ethnic and international events first before accepting. If we can do it for you we will ask questions to know exactly what you are wanting.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list? Of course, once again your event, your rules.
Do you bring your own equipment? We bring everything you need.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? We have it all, if you don't have it. We will get it for you!
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? I have a table, but if you have an extra table that matches your tables that is great! I need one hour to setup before the event.
Do you have any extra space requirements? 10 X 10
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? No, it's your event. No DJ should advertise during a wedding. NEVER
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? We EMCEE the event and I do not bore our guest. We speak only when necessary if it's going to benefit everyone.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? We will do whatever it takes to make sure people are having fun. We understand that some people just don't like to dance, and I will not force anyone to get up, though we will always try my best. If we don't see people dancing we also will fade smoothly to another song till we get it right!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We take no breaks and we don't need a meal. You are paying me to work not to eat. Though, we do like to eat. Ask our wives.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks? Once again we need no BREAKS!
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? We have hired the amazing Dean Lorenz and DJ Joey Keigan, he will be notified ASAP. If he is unavailable we also have other DJs in the region (We all work together). Though if we are not able to fill the position, I will pay you back your refund at 150%.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Only one event a day.
What is your overtime rate? Time and a half (Normal overtime rate)
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? .80 cents a mile one way.
What is the required deposit to secure your services? 25% of total fee
