The Historic Rice Mill is Charleston's most spectacular waterfront venue featuring versatile indoor and outdoor event space. With unparalleled sunset views, the Historic Rice Mill is a unique venue every bride will love. Built in 1861 and located in the heart of downtown Charleston, the inside of the Historic Rice Mill has been extensively remodeled offering, exposed brick, wide plank wood floors, large double windows and pressed tin ceilings. The ground floor is the perfect event space for any occasion. The beautiful mahogany and marble bar is well suited for entertaining. The adjacent bar area naturally lends itself to live music and dancing.
The Rice Mill is available for event rentals seven days a week, daytime or evenings. The exclusive caterer, Good Food Catering, comes from the creators of acclaimed restaurants 39 Rue de Jean, COAST and Virginia's on King. From traditional Southern to French, Asian or Classic American Cuisine Good Food Catering offers custom menu creations to meet your needs, tastes and budget. Good Food Catering is also available at unique off premise venues throughout the Lowcountry.
