Description: GG Music Entertainement is the agency that primarily markets my three groups, Gary Greenfelder Orchestra (19 piece Big Band), GQ Jazz Ensemble (Jazz Quintet) and Dynamic Resonance Brass Quintet. However, being in the business for so many years, I can also provide other bands that meet the clients needs for any special event and venue they have in mind. My groups have one mission in mind......... We Strive to Keep Music Alive! What does that mean, we love playing live music, especially playing the style of music we provide. That simply equates to very exciting shows that permiate the audience. The enjoyment we have playing crosses through to the audience. That makes every event we do very exciting and fun! So we don't offer just great music from seasoned professional musicians. We offer supreme entertainment and treat every client and event with that in mind! What is the size of your band? Large (6+ musicians), Medium (4-6 musicians)

Do you have liability insurance? Yes
What is your band's usual attire? We wear tuxedos for formal events. We dress in vests and dress pants for less formal concert events.
Do you offer live sample performances or CDs? Please visit our website atL www.ggmusicentertainment.com to get more information. We do have sample music and CDs as well.
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know? Always, we have a large book if songs, but always do our very best to meet client special requests.
How much time do you usually need for setup? 30 to 45 minute depending on location.
How much space do you usually require? 20 x 20 ft stage recommended for big band, can set up on 16 deep x 20 wide stage. For smaller groups obviously the space needed is much less.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? No, we have stands with our logo on them.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? For special events, we can provide special lighting and sound.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs? We do this upon the clients request.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? We have found that song selection is the key to this. Every event is different. SO we change our song selection if the crowd is not dancing. Of course we use voice persuation as well!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? This depends on each event. We normally play 50 minute sets with 20 minute break between. We only request meals when the event falls during dinner time and the band is required to be there early to set up, etc.
Do you play recorded music during your break? Yes, we provide CD background music. Our method that has worked wonderfully is to have the client create 20 minute CDs of their favorite songs and then play them on our breaks.
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan? I have some of the areas finest musicians and a very large list of subs that can read whatever we play!
What is your overtime rate? Depends on the size of the group and time of the evening as well.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? We only charge for events outside the greater Detroit metropolitan area. I use the standard mileage rate times the amount of vehicles required for this event. We always take the least amount of vehicles possible when this occurs.
What is the required deposit to secure your services? Yes, that standard is $400 to secure the date and band for the event.
