The Franklin and Alison Orchestra has been performing for over 16 years at various functions throughout the Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York regions. We are a high-energy band that can play any style of music with authenticity.
Our band features a 3 piece horn section, and 6 vocalists...but we can add on or subtract for the event as needed.
We have performed at The Rainbow Room in New York, The Supper Club in New York, Sardis, The Philadelphia Ritz Carlton, The Four Seasons and The Rittenhouse Hotels, in addition to many Main Line and Princeton country clubs. Check our references and clients for more information.
Our musicians hail from various places in the tri-state area. Atlantic City, Philadelphia, New York, Princeton and in between. Many have performed with major acts in Atlantic City as well as other cities, including the islands and Europe.
We are not an agency, only one band. There is a difference when you have the same musicians working together all the time, and bandleaders that will help you plan out all the details of your wedding. We also now work with a fantastic DJ for combination band-D.J. performances. Information upon request.

What is your band's usual attire?
Hawaiian shirts and Bermuda shorts, Just Kidding. Black tuxes and black shirts for the guys,Black dresses/ gowns for the female singers.Suit and tie if requested for a more casual affair.Our guys dress up pretty nicely!
Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?
Absolutely
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Yes..we love to learn new material. Just give us a cd, mp3....
How much time do you usually need for setup?
2 hours
How much space do you usually require?
depends ...we can fit anywhere!
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
NO! I can't think of a bride and groom who would want a disco ball at their wedding. Lighting is optional, but usually not needed.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
Yes, but only what you want announced,We announce the bridal party, coordinate the toasts, etc., but no chit chat between songs.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Sandwiches are fine, but we rotate short breaks for meals so that there is always live music
Do you play recorded music during your break?
No, always live unless otherwise requested
What is your overtime rate?
Varies, depending on initial fee. It is pro- rated
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Yes...depends where.
