Description: My name is Jason Talley and I am the owner and main photographer for Exposure Photography. I want to give you a little information about myself so that you may know the kind of photographer I am and what my services include. I am originally from Houston, Texas but find myself in wonderful Las Vegas as a Las Vegas Photographer. I am in the United States Air Force full time and have been for 10yrs. I have always been a talented pen and pencil artist but decided I wanted to pick up photography. Since I started, I have not stopped. I have been swamped with people that seem to love my work, which is quite motivating for me to continue doing what it is I am doing. I am a very personable individual with great dedication, customer service, and a perfectionist attitude when it comes to photographing your big day. I have numerous customers and have yet to get even ONE complaint. Of all the photography sessions I provide, I love weddings the most. I always feel honored to be part of someone's most important day. No other vendor on someone's wedding day will have the open lines of communication with the bride and groom like the photographer! If you want someone with a great love for people, professional yet fun attitude, and great skill around a camera as well as your friends and family on your wedding day, give me a call. If you only have questions and want some advice on picking a good photographer, even if it isnt me, I promise to give you unbiased, honest information! I look forward to hearing from you! Feel free to check out my site www.ExposureByJTalley.com or give me a call at 832-557-0634. Jason Talley

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
What primary photographic style do you identify with? Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture, Traditional / Posed
What do your packages include? Albums, Custom Graphic Design, Digital Files, Flush Mount, High Resolution Images, Matted Prints, Negatives, Prints, Proof CD of All Images, Thank You Cards, Video Montage
Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? I manually edit everyone of my wedding images personally. All images are color corrected for most accurate color. I also render most images in B&W as well as Sepia.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I would say that my ability to make light where there is none, is one of my greatest talents. That is what has set me apart from many other professionals. I am flexible enough to shoot beautifully natural lit daytime weddings as well as extremely low lit receptions. Nothing is a problem.
Is your media preference film or digital? Digital. Most now days prefer digital because it provides lower costs to the client plus much faster shooting and editing time on the back end.
How many photographers do you work with? I usually work alone at weddings. I get into a "zone" and have been known to crawl around on the floor, or climb high vantage points to get the perfect shot. However, I always offer additional photographers when a clients prefers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? I am ALWAYS the main photographer for every wedding I book. You are paying for MY eye, not a hired help's. I won't book a wedding that I cannot guarantee my attendance at.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? NEVER in the same day. That is just a catastrophe waiting to happen. Wedding days are very dynamic and being flexible is important to me. I want to be wherever you need me to be, even if it was not the original plan. I will always be able to flex for a wedding day. I do sometimes have multiple weddings in a weekend, but never on the same day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Yes. I have an extensive network of other extremely talented professional photographers that are always happy to help if an extremely rare occasion occurs.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? I bring my professional camera bodies, all my lenses, multiple portable lights, studio lights for larger rooms, as well as occasional props. Granola bars, water, Tylenol, and 5hr Energy is a must.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? I always bring my entire camera arsenal. You never know when a piece of equipment will fail. In addition, I have a back up of everything! Cameras, lenses, lighting, etc. I even bring back up pants and shirts because I HAVE torn out a pair of pants at the very beginning of a wedding from crawling around for a shot. It was embarrassing but provided a lot of comic relief!
Do you charge hourly or full day? My packages are based off an hourly rate, but can be adjusted to fit each bride and groom's specific wedding needs. Most packages offer increased incentives.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? I am always available for additional hours. I charge a rate of $250/hr.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? I usually only take breaks when the bride and groom take breaks. I do prefer a meal for weddings of 6 hours or more. I also eat when the bride and groom do to prevent missing any important moments during the reception. Most clients usually provide me and any assistant/second shooter with a guest meal.
Do you charge for travel? Travel costs are already incorporated into all of my wedding packages for Houston, Las Vegas, and Oklahoma City. If I am requested for a wedding in an area other than these, custom pricing can be provided.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Usually wedding images are completely finished within 2-3 weeks. However, during a busy wedding season, it may take up to 4 weeks. I try to give all of my clients the best possible images and refuse to cut corners to save time.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? All the proofs are offered via digital online gallery. From this gallery clients can order many high quality prints, galleries, albums, and other fine art products.
How long can the client keep the proofs? I leave the online gallery up for the client's use for up to 1 year. If a client needs extra time to place orders, I will extend this time per their request at no extra charge.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, the bride and groom will receive a copyright for personal use. This means that they may order prints/products from any photo lab they desire. They may use the images for any online websites or social media. Clients may not sell or make profit off of any of the images.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? I do retain full use of any images for the purpose of business promotion, advertising, blogs, and portfolios.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? A DVD with all edited images from the wedding day is provided with all wedding packages. On this DVD the copyright release will also be provided.
Will images be available for viewing online? Images will be available for full viewing at the 2-4 week time frame.
What kind of albums do you offer? I offer four different albums to keep the confusion and potential for a client to become overwhelmed to a minimum. Sorting through hundreds of photos to pick out favorites for an album has ALWAYS been a difficult process for any couple. I offer simple coffee table books and high end photograph quality albums in an assortment of design options. Millers Lab, ASA Books, and KISS Albums are my three main product partners.
When will the client get the final album? Most albums, once designed and approved by the couple, will take from 4-6 weeks to receive.
