Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: Exciting, involved and tons of fun. We do all the emcee work and get people dancing the entire night. We focus on YOU. We select and mix music based on crowd reaction and keep the party going.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested? No limit at all. You choose music in advance and we take requests from you or guests the entire time. We have ALL the latest music and love everything from Sinatra to Gangnam Style!
What is your usual attire? Tuxedo for wedding. Dressy casual for an adult party. Jeans for a teen or themed party.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? If we don't have it, we get it if at all possible. If it is a specialty song (e.g. Brazilian, German, etc.) we ask the client to provide if available.
How many other DJs do you work with? Our company has 4 professional DJs and we do NOT subcontract.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? 3 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? Absolutely.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? Yes. We have English, Scots, German, Israeli, Brazilian and Arabic music.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list? Absolutely, and it will be observed if at all possible. Some guest requests make this difficult, but we do our best to deflect those graciously.
Do you bring your own equipment? Yes. Top of the Line. Numark Controller, QSC speakers, and dance floor lighting, including lasers, roller ball and overhead lights at NO charge.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? We provide FREE dance floor lighting. At least 1 multi-colored laser, a disco ball for the floor, overhead colored lights.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? Set up takes 45 minutes. We prefer the venue provides a 3 x 5 foot table. We can bring one, but always safer to use the venue's.
Do you have any extra space requirements? No.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? No.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? We emcee as needed. We do all introductions, special dances and help the bride and groom.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? We put on line dances and get out and lead them. We bring people out on the floor and dance with them. We WILL get everyone dancing by using different types of music based on the guests background!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We do NOT take breaks. We require a meal, but eat while we work if appropriate.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks? We have music playing 100% of the time. During cocktail and dinner, we have continuous music. During dancing, we MIX all our own music based on guests' reaction, requests and the bridal party.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? We always have one DJ in reserve every weekend.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? No. We book a maximum of 3 events per day to keep 1 DJ in reserve.
What is your overtime rate? $75 per hour before 10:30 pm. $100 after.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? We give 35 miles in each direction free. 45 cents per mile thereafter.
What is the required deposit to secure your services? $100 reserves the date. Balance due 10 days prior to event.
