Elite Show Band is Pittsburgh's premier wedding and event variety music band and our goal is to entertain your guests, while making everyone feel welcome on the dance floor. Through our engaging performance, we connect your guests together, some of who may be meeting for the very first time, by playing the most popular songs from the past to the current hits of today. We read the crowd and choose songs that will not only fill the dance floor, but keep the flow moving throughout the evening's program building to a fantastic party focused on you, the bride and groom!
Benefits of Choosing the Elite Show Band: We are young and energetic with world class experience, and will entertain your guests making your party unique, fun and unforgettable. We play true variety music, from your favorite classics to the current hits of today, connecting all ages to your celebration. Our state of the art PA comes with an integrated DJ system so we can play your favorite songs throughout the evening. We provide computer controlled LED lighting for the stage and dance floor. You will have 2 expert emcee hosts Peter and Nina (also the lead singers) who will assist and coordinate your timeline, so there will be a consistent flow and no awkward pauses. We provide a wireless microphone for your speeches, toasts and blessing. We manage volume control and include a clear plexiglass drum shield to fully maximize the sound control for even the most challenging venues. You can call, text, or email at anytime (even if it is midnight the day before your wedding). We know what you are going through, we are also a married couple.

We have live video footage from real weddings if requested.
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Yes. We always learn a couple's first dance. We are always adding new material and have an extensive song list. Check out our song list at www.eliteshowband.com.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
Usually 1 1/2 Hours to setup and do sound check. This is with PA System and Stage and Dance Floor Lighting.
How much space do you usually require?
12 ft x 18 ft is usually the smallest size stage, but this will depend on what size band the bride has picked
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
We do travel with Podiums/Music Stands which have our logo on them.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Computer Controlled LED Stage and Dance Floor Lighting.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
Yes we usually MC the event unless otherwise requested. You always get a male and female emcee with us (Pete and Nina the lead singers and married couple).
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Play a ballad to get all the couples on the floor, then go right into a winning dance number so people don't have a chance to think about if they want to leave the dance floor.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We only take breaks if we feel that the crowd needs a break. Usually after about 45 minutes people need to get a drink. So we usually go by 10- 15 minute break every hour. But if the crowd is really hoppin', we have been known to go for as long as 2 1/2 hours straight.
We do require the client provide a vendor meal and it can be as simple as a sandwich tray.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
Yes we do, it's almost like having a DJ and a band because we have many different break mixes and we determine which one to use by the mood of the room. There is no dead silence and all transitions are seamless.
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?
We only hire Union Musicians from the American Federation of Musicians, and always have a backup list for each instrument just in case this sort of thing should arise.
What is your overtime rate?
Our overtime rate is $800 per each additional hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
It depends on the distance and location. Any location 2 hours or less from Pittsburgh PA will usually have no travel charges.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We do require a 15% deposit of the agreed upon price to secure your date. We accept credit cards or a check.
