With a background in technology and film photography Benjamin is the perfect blend of traditional photographic art and digital advancing style. One of the biggest things that brides and grooms fail to consider when selecting their wedding photographer is, "how will this person's personality fit into my wedding party?" As more and more photographers go journalistic and editorial it is most important to fall in love with an artist, not only for the way they will see your wedding day but also for how comfortable you'll be and smile around them. Shoot us an e-mail, let's meet, we are confident that you'll love us, our style and how we see weddings.

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
What primary photographic style do you identify with? Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture
What do your packages include? Albums, Custom Graphic Design, Digital Files, High Resolution Images, Prints, Thank You Cards
Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? Yes and no. I think that it's important to not do anything cheesy, if my client wants something cheesy, I'll do everything in my power to show them why they dont want hand coloring and why they DO want awesome custom art.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I have experience with ALL lighting scenarios. I believe that if an artist is going to specialize in weddings they need to be ready for anything and everything! Photography greats will tell you, "lighting isn't anything, it's EVERYTHING"
Is your media preference film or digital? On a professional level digital photography is the way to be. It holds amazing potential for post processing and all of the amazing optics of professional film photography. On a personal note, I was trained in and LOVE film. I own a darkroom, loads of film cameras and continually participate in the traditional art of photography. So the real answer to this question is, yes, they are both my preference.
How many photographers do you work with? Primarily I work as a sole loan photographer. I bring an assistant to all my weddings but rarely work with a second shooter. I teach with an amazing number of photographic professionals and enjoy keeping in the company of photographers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes I do. Totally.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? Sometimes more than one in a weekend, but never more than one event in a day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Remember a few questions ago when you asked if I worked with other photographers? I know that I could count on them for anything. That's how great photographers roll, they have each other's back.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Everything! I am a Canon man and I love investing in equipment BUT equipment doesn't make a photographer, a photographer makes art.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Always.
Do you charge hourly or full day? Full day only. I believe that by taking the "when am I off work" question out of the senario, I am more at liberty to take better photographs and nobody is worried about when the photographer is leaving.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Reference previous question, full day is a full day.
Do you charge for travel? Yep. I love to travel and I can't afford to do that without charging extra.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 6 to 8 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Hard back coffee-table style books. Yours to keep forever.
How long can the client keep the proofs? FOR.EV.ER.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes I do. You can buy rights to reproduce the photographs for personal use but I take too much pride in my art to give away my intelectual property.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? They are available for purchase.
Will images be available for viewing online? Yep. Sometimes with out of state/country family this is more than just a necessity.
