Nestled amidst acres of beautiful grape arbors, "A Place in the Vineyard" is the perfect setting for your special day. We provide your tables and chairs for up to 200 guests. Floor length linens for the indoor tables as well as linen toppers in a variety of colors. Use of our 2000 square foot covered patio, full set up and clean up as well as staff to work both your wedding and reception. We allow you to choose all of your vendors so each wedding is unique. We offer packages for Saturday as well as Friday/Sunday weddings. Come and see why "A Place in the Vineyard" is becoming one of the most sought after venues close to Charlotte.

Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture?
A Place In the Vineyard is nestled among acres of lush grape vines. The ballroom has cathedral exposed beams with enormous iron and glass chandeliers. The entire facility has a very Tuscan feel. Pictures do not do it justice. You must see it for yourself!
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
We offer daily rentals with just one wedding ceremony allowed each day! The cost varies according to the day of the week chosen.
Do you offer any special services?
Staffing of two Dennis Vineyards employees is included. Set-up and clean-up of the facility is also included in the package price.
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
Not currently
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
White, padded fold out chairs for up to 200 guests are included in the package price and we set them out for you as well.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
Tables and table linens for all indoor guest seating is included in the package price.
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
Two staff members will be provided to tend the bar and make sure the evening flows smoothly.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
You are free to use whomever you chose to help you make your day special.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
We do not have a required list of vendors that you must use. You are more than welcome to bring in whomever you want for your music, food, flowers, etc.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
Not currently
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Being a winery, our wine is the only wine allowed on the property. We do allow beer to be served but it must be in kegs. Our staff serves all the alcohol for the evening. Liquor is not allowed.
How many power outlets does the venue have?
There are power outlets every 8 feet in the facility. There are also outlets down at the gazebo as well.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
The only restrictions we have are on those particular decorations that may pose fire hazards or cause damage to the facility. Therefore, we do not allow open-flame candles or for things to be taped or nailed to the walls or hung from the wooden beams.

There are no restrictions on photography.

There are no restrictions on videography.

The only restriction is that all music must end before 11pm.

All rentals go to 11pm and music/noise can not go past that time due to nose ordinances.

We hold any and all necessary permits.
