It's such a pleasure to be a witness to the story you bring to us, first learning about your meeting one another and sharing our own story with you, photographing your engagement as you fill us in on the sweet proposal, and then the grand event of being there with you at your wedding as you exchange vows and make the promises that define your love. Surrounded by loved ones, there we are, your photographers, in the midst of your very special day... the lucky ones to be documenting the celebration. As we study the light and carefully compose, we never underestimate what we feel is most important, respectfully observing the moments you candidly and honestly share on this day of all days. It is no wonder why we love our job. And in the end, being able to give you back the story you shared with us tops the cake, details and all. Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? Yes, we edit according to our own artistic eye as well as a few that we think the particular client will like based on their own style. Black and white, vintage, pushed colors.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? We have experience with all lighting situations; cloudy, overcast, full sun, sunsets, candlelight, lowlight, stage lighting, flash, strobes and the unattractive fluorescent as well.
Is your media preference film or digital? Digital
How many photographers do you work with? Usually there are two photographers at each wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? We guarantee our presence if not challenged by an act of God, where in we then guarantee another photographer to fill our shoes. Depending on your package, you are guaranteed a lead photographer and you will have met either myself or the other lead photographers prior to your date.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? It is possible, especially with two lead photographers and several second shooters at hand. We also offer package options that make less coverage available, and therefore less staff.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Yes.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Canon 5D, Lenses both prime and back up, strobes, mono pod, lights with modifiers when needed and obvious camera needs.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day? Packages are based on 6-10 hours.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Overtime is $300.00 per hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? Our contract includes the policy that the client will provide two meals for us during the reception (meals, not boxed lunches).
Do you charge for travel? Yes, outside of the Indianapolis or immediate surrounding area.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Roughly eight to ten weeks. We do not provide viewing of any proofs, only final images.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? On line album or directly through Crowe's Eye.
How long can the client keep the proofs? You do not receive proofs under any circumstances.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, though you can purchase your own limited rights as well.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes, as well as to market and use as advertising.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? You are welcome to purchase the digital files with your own set of rights. We do retain ours as well. The rights are part of each wedding package as well.
Will images be available for viewing online? Yes, up to three months
What kind of albums do you offer? High quality digital albums, printed and bound in Italy.
When will the client get the final album? It is at least a two month process to create digital, custom albums. Other options take less time.
