We are not a dance band, rather, Connecticut Jazz Events provides elegant classy jazz for your cocktail or dinner portion of the evening.

We do take short breaks, about one 10 minute break for every 60 minutes of performing. We do require that the client provide a meal.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
We can upon request.

Bandleader can easily find a suitable substitute jazz musician capable of filling in.
What is your overtime rate?
$15 per 1/4 hour, per musician

No hidden travel charge - the price we quote you at is the price you pay.
