Through photography, I believe that you can hold on to a piece of time, and even re-live moments that are once in a lifetime. I believe that capturing real emotion of a couple, can virtually place their personality on display for all to see. I believe that the best images are the ones that come from natural happenings, like laughter and smiles on a wedding day. I believe in capturing the excitement of the first look, to the real step of the first dance. I believe that your wedding day is the first day, of the rest of your life, and that capturing it is an honor. My goal as a wedding photographer is to take all of the things that I believe and deliver them for you to look on, all the days of your life.
My name is Cody Myers and I began photography about 3 years ago as a hobby and soon had a passion to grow my hobby in to a profession. My goal is to give my clients the unique pictures that only they can provide, and hand them the images of their wedding day that the have always dreamed about. I am very laid back and like to have fun, and I hope that energy shows in the images.

What do your packages include?

Do you have liability insurance?
No
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I have experience with many different lighting conditions. I have many flashes and components to help in any lighting situation.
Is your media preference film or digital?
My main preference is digital, though I am considering offering portraits in film for my customers.
How many photographers do you work with?
I normally work with one other photographer.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I do guarantee my presence for the event. I am a very hands on person and love to follow through with my clients.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I never book more than one event per day or weekend. I like to devote all of my attention to my client.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I do have a talented replacement photographer if the need arises.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I normally bring my cameras, lenses, flashes, light stands, and the schedule of shots and ideas the bride and I have agreed upon.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I do.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
My normal packages are for a full day of coverage. Having said that, I do offer an hourly rate for quick ceremonies and receptions.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
With my packages I include the whole day, that is from when the bride and groom begin getting ready to when they leave the reception for their honeymoon.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Working as hard as I do, it does require some breaks. I am very conscious of what is going on so I do not miss anything. I do require the client provide a meal for me and my other photographer. When it is time for the reception we will take turns taking a break so that we can achieve maximum efficiency and not miss a shot.
Do you charge for travel?
I do charge for travel if the event is outside a 100 mile radius of my location.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I strive to get all images edited and ready for proofing in 2 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Initial proofs are offiered in digital format on instaproofs.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
I have my proofs up for 90 days. Though the client willl get a DVD off all of the images.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
It depends on the package the client chooses. For most packages I do not.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I do reserve the right to publish the photos for advertisement.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I do. I give the client a DVD with all high-res images from their wedding.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Images can be viewed at my instaproofs site.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer many albums for the client. My most popular is a 20 page 12x12 leather bound album.
When will the client get the final album?
Once the order is placed the client should receive the album with in a 4-6 weeks.
