Description: Congratulations on your engagement! The excitement you feel right now is what drives our team to be the best we can be on your wedding day. My goal is to provide you with the highest quality photography or videography available while not exceeding your budget. You won't find any attitudes here, just hard working smiling faces and fun personalities. After all your wedding day is about you and not the professionals you hire. We are the Southeast's only award winning company to offer both videography and photography. Today's savvy bride will appreciate that we don't have the overhead of an expensive studio that can inflate prices. The current trend for bridal sessions and engagement photos are to shoot on location. Without the extra overhead we are able to invest in the best equipment available while keeping our prices in line with the current economy. We offer unique services not offered by other photographers such as High Definition photo montages with precise custom editing. Check out our video samples to see some of our latest photo montages. Because we offer both videography and photography our professional teams work together efficiently. Your wedding day is savored without the photographer and videographer butting heads to get the best shot. This leaves you with more time to enjoy your special day. We offer flexible shooting styles. We can cover your event the way you want to remember it whether you prefer traditional, photo journalistic, black and white or color. If you prefer photography, videography, or both, we have a package to accommodate your needs and budget. Discounts are available for videography when you book certain photography packages. Thank you for taking the time to view my work. Please call for an appointment so that we can discuss your needs in detail. I look forward to hearing about your big day! Cliff

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
What primary photographic style do you identify with? Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture, Traditional / Posed
What do your packages include? Albums, Custom Graphic Design, Digital Files, Flush Mount, High Resolution Images, Matted Prints, Negatives, Prints, Proof CD of All Images, Thank You Cards, Video Montage
Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? Yes. My equipment allows photographs to be taken in extremely low light. If your wedding venue does not allow flash you will appreciate how my cameras are able to capture even the lowest light conditions with perfect detail.
Is your media preference film or digital? Digital
How many photographers do you work with? Careful planning can often eliminate paying for additional photographers. If we determine more photographers are needed to cover your event I have three additional photographers available to make sure your event is properly covered.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes. I am the primary photographer for every event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? I limit my bookings to one wedding or event per day. I pride myself on building a personal relationship with each of my couples. You never have to worry about someone showing up on your wedding day that you don't know or uncomfortable with.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? I have established a network with seven qualified photographers with similar shooting styles. In the unlikely event I am not available you are assured your wedding will be covered.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? As good as my equipment is you never know when something can go wrong. When I purchase new cameras I always buy two of the same. I don't use a lesser quality camera as a backup. Knock on wood, I have never had a camera malfunction but if it does you are covered. Depending on the location I also bring one or two studio lights for the reception. This produces better images than a camera flash. There are never additional charges for the extra lights.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes, as noted above.
Do you charge hourly or full day? I charge based on your needs and budget. I will not oversell you on services that you will never use!
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Yes. Extra hours are prorated at $175.00 per hour. Keep in mind this includes editing your photos which is not offered by most photographers without an additional charge.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? My contract states that I need to take an occasionally break and have a chance to eat. To be honest this is not a big deal. I hate to sit idle. I am hired to do a job and I can't do it if I'm eating.
Do you charge for travel? No, unless it's over 25 miles outside of the Charlotte area or between the ceremony and reception location.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? I don't believe in proofs. Every photo you receive whether it's a print or digital photo will be edited for proper exposure and clarity. This is a value added service provided at no extra charge. Typical turn around time is 2 to 8 weeks depending on the time of year.
How long can the client keep the proofs? Once you receive your photos in print or on a DVD they are yours to keep forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, but couples receive full copyright useage for personal use if they receive the digital photos.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes, unless you specify you don't want the photos published. Your privacy is always respected.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes. I also include personal copyrights to each couple to print and share their photos for personal use. I do ask if the photos are going to published on line or print that I be given credit.
Will images be available for viewing online? Only if requested. Additional fees may be required.
What kind of albums do you offer? Coffee table (various sizes), 8x8, 5x7, 10x10, and other sizes. OK, I'm going to tick off a few photographers but when you receive your digital photos you can save hundreds of dollars by designing your own album.
When will the client get the final album? This is determined by the type of album requested.
