He is one of those rare musicians who not only play at a high level of skill on more than one instrument, but have a special way with music; bringing a passion and integrity to every performance that is truly memorable. Chriss music is a polished and well-crafted blend of the classical, jazz, and popular traditions, and its often hard to tell where one ends and the next begins; its all rendered with his finely-honed instincts and unique touch. He can be heard at many of the most prestigious events in the Virgin Islands; whether it be at upscale corporate functions, romantic weddings, or private villas. Chris is a long-time resident of the Caribbean, and has infused much of the culture into his personal, and musical world-view. When ensemble performing he can often be seen with an eclectic mix of local musicians and continental talent. He might be found playing at a beach wedding with a steel-pan player one day, performing in a classical trio at an exclusive resort the next, and then be heard leading a jazz quartet at a formal private dinner. Contrary to the current trend, Chris eschews playing on top of loops and tracks, preferring the freedom and spontaneity of unencumbered solo playing, and the intimate interaction of performing live with other musicians.
