Yes
Describe your DJ style:
Beachy and professional is how people describe Chris. Laid back and effective is how Chris views himself. Chris will work tirelessly to make any Wedding a success.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
There isn't a limit to the number of songs that can be requested, but Chris will read the crowd and ultimately play what he feels is the best selection.
What is your usual attire?
From a full three piece to beach casual. Attire for the DJ will be discussed before the event.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No. Chris will source any songs that are requested that he doesn't currently have in his collection.
How many other DJs do you work with?
There are four regular Island DJ's that Chris has a connection with.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Chris DJ's the whole event for a previously agreed price. He will not charge per hour above a certain time. When it's done, it's done.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes. Chris will meet locally or online via Skype.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
Chris doesn't specialize in any ethnic or international events, but he can certainly cater to any event given time to research it.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Chris welcomes do not play lists, but he asks that you don't tell the guests as they normally ask Chris to play from that list ;)
Do you bring your own equipment?
Chris works on Pioneer decks and mixer, he uses a Mac book and hard drive, self powered EV speakers and has the latest DMX LED lights and lasers.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
A Scorpion Storm RGK Laser, Chauvet Swarm, Chauvet LED's and an LED Mirror Ball.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Chris has his own table and it takes approximately one hour to set up.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Chris will need approximately a 12 foot by 5 foot space.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
Two vertical banners will hand from the speakers. They are tastefully done and are designed around the logo.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Chris is the perfect MC and will motivate the crowd between songs.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Chris is very good at reading the crowd and will always try something to get bodies on the dance floor. The key is to never give up, change things up and ask for requests.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Chris doesn't eat when he's working. No meal requirements need to be in place, (unless it's chicken wings ;))
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Chris will not take a break other than one that may be necessary and only for a few minutes.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
If something came up last minute, Chris would contact local DJ's he knows and if they were busy he would call a local agency to cover the event.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
No... It's not possible.
What is your overtime rate?
No over time. The price is agreed prior and is firm.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No travel expenses for anywhere in the Tampa Bay area.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
The deposit is about 10% of the total agreed fee.
