My name is Gillian Reinhardt and I am the Artist, Owner, and Mastermind behind all you see on this website. My art is my voice, a piece of me. I have to pinch myself daily because I get invited to peoples weddings not just to witness this beautiful event but to record it and tell the love story of 2 people for them to cherish for the rest of their lives. I just love what I do! I consider myself not just a photographer but a storyteller. My job is not to take photographs of people but to tell their story. I want you to look back at your photographs and see not just what was but to remember the story behind the captured moment. I focus on expressions, emotions, and relationships because those are the items that trigger our memories. My inspiration is my family. I could not have gotten luckier than when I met my fabulous husband Joe. We have a 8 year old princess named Alexis, and our 2 year old Queen (for those that know her, yes, she is the Queen) Sophia. Our dog Jeter rounds out this crazy crew. They challenge me every day and I can't imagine my life without them or any less hectic :) I hope you enjoy my website but if youre looking for that human touch, please give me a call. Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I have experience shooting in just about all lighting situations. I think with weddings you are put in situations all the time with not so good lighting and you have to be able to know what to do and quickly
Is your media preference film or digital? All Digital with Canon Latest digital cameras
How many photographers do you work with? 1 to 2 + me
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? Never!
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Defenitely
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? 2 Canon 1D Mark IV bodies, + another back up body, 6 lenses, 3 flashes, 2 battery packs, tripod, other various lighting and gear, hard drives, 8-10 digital media cards
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Always
Do you charge hourly or full day? 1/2 day or Full Day collections available
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Yes, $250 per hour extra
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? No breaks, We do ask that food be provided during full day events. It can be sandwiches, just enough so we don't pass out :)
Do you charge for travel? If it's beyond a 2 hour drive from home, yes we charge travel expenses at cost but our collection prices are the same.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 4-6 weeks. We guarantee them in 6.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Oline and a hard cover proof book comes with every collection we do. If you would like a proof disk we can do one of those for you as well.
How long can the client keep the proofs? Forever! I can't throw away my own pictures so I'm not going to even attempt to throw away anyone elses
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Always
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? I do. We do ask your permission first
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? If our clients hit a certain price point with their collection then the collection will come with the hi-resolution files. If not than the disk may be added to the collection
Will images be available for viewing online? 60 days
What kind of albums do you offer? Anything from very casual coffee table style books to very upscale beautiful wedding albums.
When will the client get the final album? It varies. Typically from the time you get me your image slections it takes from between 4 to 10 weeks depending on the album you choose.
