Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings? I offer a free tasting and design consultation for wedding and other large orders.
What are your tasting hours? Tastings are by appointment.
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes? Cakes are priced by the serving. Serving size is based on the industry standard of 1" x 2" x 4".
Does the price include the top tier of the cake? Yes.
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles? I specialize in custom cakes. I can also work from sample designs.
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes? I use fresh ingredients such as butter, cream, sour cream, cream cheese, fresh or frozen fruits, chocolate, etc.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake? I generally bake the cake two to three days prior to delivery to allow time for settling, assembly and decorating.
How many cakes do you schedule for a typical weekend? I only do one large cake (such as a wedding cake), or two to three small cakes per weekend. This allows me to maintain a high level of quality for every order.
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake? Yes.
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out? Cupcake tower.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee? I offer free delivery and set-up in the Boise area; delivery for a fee outside of the Boise area.
