Bull City Syndicate is NOT just another "Beach" or "Blues" band with a horn section. This is a TRUE "Horn Band," which can deliver a full night of Hits from the 60's, 70's. 80's, 90's and today, or can take you on a nostalgic journey featuring the Top-40 hits of the great horn bands. Beyonce' to Blood Sweat & Tears, Blackeyed Peas to Chicago, Maroon 5 to Tower of Power, Shania Twain to Earth Wind & Fire, Lady Gaga to Sinatra - all at the highest level of quality and musicianship. With literally hundreds of songs in their repertoire, BCS will work with you to tailor the show to your needs and expectations.

For weddings, usually contemporary, dressy black - but, we'll adapt to the party's requests. We will NOT wear cheesy tuxes!
Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?
Yes.
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Yes, we will learn up to two songs for each event.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
4 to 6 hours.
How much space do you usually require?
Staging area of 16' x 24' is preferred, but we can use 12' x 20' at a minimum.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Sound equipment and lighting, only.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
As required by the wedding party.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We generally require a meal before the reception, or if preferred, while the quests are having dinner. This is determined by the specific needs and schedule of the event.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
If requested.
What is your overtime rate?
$500 for any portion of an extra half hour, if requested. There is no charge if the band plays longer of their own accord.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
That depends upon the distance from Durham, NC that we are required to travel, and whether or not an overnight stay is also required. This is fully disclosed during upfront discussions.
