PhreshAct, brings an air of sophistication and lots of fun to weddings celebrations. Since 1999 our unique wedding reception performances have won rave reviews. We play great dance songs and improvise on top to create unique dance music experiences for your big day. Do you have liability insurance?

What is your band's usual attire?
Our usual attire is black and white Suites for the men and a gown for our woman vocalist(s). Tuxedos or any other attire could be worn at your request.
Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?
We will gladly have you come by on rehearsal night and give you a good sampling of how we play and I encourage our potential clients to do so. We also play a few clubs here and there.
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Most Phresh Act packages includes learning up to three songs for special dances (first, bride & her farther and groom & his mother). We will also make an effort to learn one other song that you must hear on your wedding day. Anything we can do to make your wedding day perfect will be our pleasure
How much time do you usually need for setup?
Typically it takes 2 hours to load in, set up but it could be faster if need be. We use state of the art equipment which allow us to pink noise the room to optimize our sound system and speakers for whatever environment we perform in.
How much space do you usually require?
A space of 15' wide X 10' deep at one end of the dance floor is best but
we can work in larger and smaller areas.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
Only upon request.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We accommodate all reasonable requests. If there are any additional fees they will be negotiated and added to the contract.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
We will gladly provide whatever MC services you require. We do not talk between tunes normally but rather flow from one song to the next keeping track of time for any upcoming announcements we need to make.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Often falling back to an older wedding dance favorite like Mustang Sally or Brick House works. Another trick is playing a classic slow dance that couples love to dance to. Our show is like clock work though with lots of great dance songs back to back or seconds apart so there is no time to leave the dance floor. We have other tricks too but we seldom need any of them as we truly are a great dance party band.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Most of our clients provide us with the same meals being served to their guests and we do require a 1/2 hour meal break. We provide recorded music during these breaks and if you wish, the music could be a mix of your own making.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
We do provide nice mixes of recorded music during our break(s) and if we will gladly put a custom mix togeter for you or you could provide it to us to play.
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?
We have a large network of subs that are as good as our regulars and they all know our show well. It is completely seamless when a member can't make the date for reasons beyond there control.
What is your overtime rate?
Our overtime rate for a 7-piece band is $400/hour
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
If the mileage is excessive we do charge or we can work it into the contract price, which ever you prefer. In any case it will be discussed in advance and noted in the contract.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
50% of the total contract cost is due with the signed contract to book Phresh Act. The balance is due the day of your wedding
