Do you have liability insurance? Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? All photos are professionally touched up. Sometimes a photo will inspire us to be more creative and when that happens you get the fancy photo at no extra charge. If you request hand-coloring, black and white or anything else special we can do it.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I have been a photographer for over 10 years. I have photographed in a studio, in the rain, snow and hot summer days.

Is your media preference film or digital? Professionally I shoot digitally, but for my own pleasure I like to photograph with antique cameras.

How many photographers do you work with? I have two photographers that are able to back me up when needed.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? YES!

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? No, when you book your wedding with Bolt Photography that is the only event we will be photographing that day. This way we can guarantee that we will be there.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Of course!

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? cameras, lens, batteries... the list goes on.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Absolutely!

Do you charge hourly or full day? It depends on the need of the couple. We have very affordable wedding packages that include bridal, engagement, ceremony and reception. But if you only need us for a few hours we can accomedate that too.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? It is $300 an hour for each additional hour.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We don't require breaks or meals. Our job is to photograph your big day and not to miss a moment.

Do you charge for travel? Only if traveling out of the metro area. Even that is negotiable.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 15 days after the event or sooner.

In what format are the initial proofs offered? The couple and all the guest are able to view them on our website. The same day your discs of photos will be available.

How long can the client keep the proofs? They stay posted for about a 3 months after the event.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, but a copyright release is given to the couple with their discs of photos.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes, all photo sessions come with discs of photos and a copyright release.

Will images be available for viewing online? Yes

What kind of albums do you offer? We have several albums sizes to choose from. Each album is custom made for the client to reflect their wedding day.

When will the client get the final album? The album is ready about 3 weeks after the couple selects their photos.
