Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? I offer hand tinting of photographs. Examples can be seen on my website and facebook page.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I have extensive experience in all lighting conditions. I am formally trained to know how to properly light and handle all different lighting scenarios.
Is your media preference film or digital? Digital. We love film, we trained on film, but digital offers so many more possibilities, the ability to see exactly what every shot looks like instantly and substantially more images for clients to choose from.
How many photographers do you work with? One to three photographers, depending on the package selected. Trayc Dudgeon is our lead shooter on all weddings and second shooters are chosen based on availability and areas of expertise.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? Very rarely more than one event per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Yes. We have a network of very experienced wedding photographers that we have a mutual agreement to provide replacement should an unavoidable situation arise that I become unavailable. Clients are given the option to see their work and select the alternate photographer.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Multiple cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, some props depending on whether or not they are requested.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day? Both options are available but typically a day package is a set amount of hours.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Yes. The rate varies depending on the package chosen. This is negotiable.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? Normally we are provided a meal at the reception.
Do you charge for travel? No, within a reasonable distance and within the GTA.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Approximately 4 weeks after the wedding date, proofs are ready.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Online via our proofing site.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes, unless otherwise specified. This is negotiable.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes, in most packages.
Will images be available for viewing online? Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer? We offer a number of different albums but our most popular are flush mount albums, in an array of different sizes
When will the client get the final album? Final images, albums, etc. are delivered based on when the bride and groom decide on final images for those albums, etc. Usually around 12 weeks.
