We shop all over the world to find the best ingredients for our cakes and pastries to make sure that everything we make is the finest quality. We can work with many edible products---sugarpaste, fondant, pulled sugar, chocolate, etc. to make sure that you can have exactly the cake that you are envisioning for your wedding.
We have cake tastings during the winter/spring months so you can have the opportunity to sample all of our cake and buttercream flavors as well as perusing our cake portfolios. We have cake tasting days available in the Winter and Spring months, please contact us for availability.
Bella e Dolce has been providing wedding cakes, specialty cakes and pastries in northern Michigan since 1997. Kim Sperl, owner and pastry chef, graduated from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France in 1999. In 2003, Kim was joined by Erin Sonntag, a Culinary Arts graduate of Schoolcraft College, in Livonia, Michigan. Together, they created an amazing relationship and friendship based on cake! Erin started her own business in Southeastern Michigan and ran that for 9 years, before deciding to take Kim up on the offer of joining her for the 2012 wedding season. From that created a new business partnership, with Erin expanding Bella e Dolce to Southeastern Michigan. The BeD South location, based in Walled Lake, is currently taking reservations for 2014 weddings and will be open early 2014.
