Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: Experienced and knowledgeable.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested? Not at all.
What is your usual attire? Semi Formal or Formal upon request of client.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? No, I will provide all the music for the event. I use Amazon.com to purchase any songs pre-requested that I don't already have in my catalog.
How many other DJs do you work with? I have one backup Dj and two Mc's that I have worked with in the past, who have proven to be worthy assets to my business.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? No time minimum. There is a $50 set up fee for events under three hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? Yes. One "in person" consultation and unlimited phone/email consultations up until the day of the event.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? N/A
Can the client submit a do-not-play list? Absolutely. In fact we are well aware of songs that are "not good" to play at weddings.
Do you bring your own equipment? We provide a complete sound system complete with subwoofers and a premium wireless microphone for toasts and important announcements.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? We have interactive dance floor lighting and optional "Uplighting".
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? A complete set up with dance floor lights and uplighting can be set up in an hour or less depending on the venue. Possibly more if the ceremony and reception are in different locations.
Do you have any extra space requirements? No
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? NO shameless promotions from us at your wedding!
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? Yes. An MC is very important in directing the flow of the reception and for making important announcements to the attending guests. We DO NOT talk more than is necessary to accomplish the goals of the event.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? If nobody is dancing, I will invite people out to the dance floor for a participation dance or encourage people to make requests.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? The only break that I might need is a bathroom break. If meal is provided, I will usually eat while the dinner music playlist is on auto pilot.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks? Yes. I have an option to play on auto pilot.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? This would never happen unless there was an extreme emergency. However, I have a DJ who has been to many of my weddings and knows my particular equipment and music catalog. In case of an emergency and I was not able to attend the event, he would substitute for me.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Never
What is your overtime rate? The client can go 30 minutes past the scheduled stop time without any additional cost. After that the overtime rate is $50 per 1/2 hr and is due at time of request.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? Will travel up to 30 miles from downtown Spokane for no additional charge. Call for quote outside of 30 miles.
