Services: Ceremony Music
Description: Amy & Me is a Baltimore based ensemble consisting of voice, guitar and cello. We offer a nice alternative to the sounds of a string quartet, yet are still an intimate group that can create whatever ambiance you are seeking for your event. We are unique in that we are versatile in playing both classical and popular music with traditional standards such as Ave Maria or Pachelbels Canon as well as covers such as Feels Like Home or Youve Got to Hide Your Love Away, to Broadway favorites like Think of Me. We also have a selection of original songs that we perform at numerous shows and concerts. All three of us have trained extensively in classical music and hold degrees in music performance from various colleges across the continent. And although we perform as a trio, we are happy to include pieces for solo guitar or solo cello, and also guitar/cello duos to accommodate a particular song. If you have a specific song request, we would be happy to arrange it for our group. Amy & Me has performed all along the east coast from Atlanta, GA to New York City. We are ideal for weddings, corporate events, parties, receptions, cocktail hours, coffee shops, restaurants... We can play acoustically for intimate settings or play amplified to cover a larger audience/room size  this is often necessary with large outdoor weddings and noisy receptions or parties. We have our own sound equipment, but our instruments have pickups that can be used with external sound systems. Since we are a group that routinely plays non-classical music, we are comfortable playing in situations where we are amplified. If you have any questions feel free to contact us!
