Description: Amie Otto Photography is a boutique studio focusing on modern wedding photojournalism, with a classic sensibility. We look for real emotion and shared moments, while also capturing the details and portraits that make your wedding unique to you. We will never pull you away from your party to take a picture, and will never pose you artificially. We provide a personalized client experience from the first meeting where you will meet your lead photographer, up until the final images are delivered. We work with you every step of the way to make sure your photography is a perfect fit for your wedding. In the end, you receive custom edited images that beautifully recreate the story of your day. My style is a blend of documentary and modern photography. Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? I shoot everything digitally and then during the editing process can convert photos to black and white and sepia, as well as do special effects like cross processing, vignettes, etc. I also do minor retouching and artistic effects as part of all my packages.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I have experience with pretty much all lighting situations. Please contact me for more specific information.
Is your media preference film or digital? Digital
How many photographers do you work with? 1-2 depending on the wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? I only book one wedding per day and no more than 2 per weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Yes
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Several digital camera bodies, lenses, and flash heads, as well as a few film bodies.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes
Do you charge hourly or full day? Either--it depends on the package.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Yes. $350 Per hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? Depends on the schedule of the wedding.
Do you charge for travel? Not within a 75 mile radius of Dulles Airport.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 4-6 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? On a password protected website.
How long can the client keep the proofs? Hosted on line for 6 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, but I also offer high resolution image files with rights to print.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes
Will images be available for viewing online? Yes
What kind of albums do you offer? Flush mount, matted and coffee book style.
When will the client get the final album? Approximately 4-6 weeks after design is finalized.
