The Allan Houser Sculpture Gardens
A wedding under the stars, amidst Allan Houser's stunning sculpture, in any of our private ceremonial areas is a unique experience that you and your guests will remember forever. With over 11 acres of spectacular mountain vistas and vivid sunsets backdropped amongst chamisa, juniper, and cedar trees, these gardens embody a most spiritual environment for your special day. Our Visitor's Center, full kitchen, and patio, holds up to 100 guests and the grounds can be tented for much larger receptions. We have a small Kiva sunken 4 feet below the grounds with bench seating suitable for weddings up to 50 people. There is a large Cremonial Dance Ground with a teepee behind it that can be used for more traditional larger weddings (200 ). An additional large Kiva sunken over 8 feet below ground can hold up to 150 people.

How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
We determine cost of space by how many guests and cost of venue is determined by number of guests and how long the space will be needed including set-up and take-down. The fee for weddings is $3,500 - $5,000 per event, plus tax. This fee does not include refreshments, or meals. This rate applies to groups up to 150 guests.
Rental rates for larger wedding parties are quoted on a per event basis.

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
Compound Rental includes:
Preparation of the Visitorsýý¬ýýý Center and grounds.

We have 8 - 48" rounds, 2 - 8' serving table, 1 - 6' table, 2 - 4' tables and 60 folding chairs.
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
1-3 staff personnel depending on how large the venue is. We may charge an additional $45.00 per hour fee for each AHI staff/ grounds person required for an event.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No, but Allan Houser Inc. will be glad to furnish you with references of local wedding planners, caterers, musicians, dancers, etc.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
No, we do not furnish our own musicians, but can provide names of local musicians.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
We have the Allan Houser Gallery that can be opened and used for the wedding.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
A wedding coordinator is required for all weddings.
How many power outlets does the venue have?
Visitors Center is equipped with outlets for music or a PA system. There are outlets and lighting throughout the gardens.
