Description: The process of visually capturing a story is a biased one no matter whom you choose to photograph your life events. I take pride in putting my eye to the test to capture your moments. Ive found that my viewpoint is a kind, quiet one that wants to show a playful, beautiful and natural side of people. Everyone handles being in front of the camera differently. I truly enjoy discovering where that comfortable place is for each individual. My grandfather introduced me to photography on my eighth birthday and it captured my imagination instantly. I took photos of my friends, created staged productions and often had my forested home be my muse throughout my younger years. After studying and receiving a BA in photography at UCSC in 2004, I was contracted to shoot commercial product photography and portrait and wedding photography over the last several years. My interest in music, theater, and art play a significant role in the tone and attention of my images and I truly love the way photography allows us to capture and encapsulate special moments in time.
