What music genres are in your collection? 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, Classic Rock, Country, Funk, Gospel, Hip Hop, Jazz, Motown, Oldies, Pop, R&B, Rock, Soul
Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: Able to Format and play all types of Music, Pop, Oldies, 70's, 80's, 90's, Jazz, Swing, Country, need 30 to 40 requested songs from Client to provide Music for each Wedding, Party, Prom, etc.
What is your usual attire? My Dress Attire depends on the Bride, they request casual or Tux and Tie. During Weddings I'll provide dress code to DJ's, and have my Wedding Planners check there attire.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? Enjoy having Couple provide a pre-requested songs, DJ's have alot of Songs to play and unable to locate that special song. Whenever I DJ at a International Event the guests provide the CD's to play.
How many other DJs do you work with? Have a total of 5 Dee-Jays in my Networking Group.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? Normal time is 4 hours, and we charge an extra 50 to 100 per hour, minimum hour is 2, which allow myself to do 2 Weddings or 2 Parties on the same day.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? It's important to have the Bride meet the DJ's & myself, enjoy having Bride give feedback and her list of Songs, 1st Dance, Cake Cutting. It's her special day and everything has to follow her Program.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? Currently work at 4 Hotels part-time as a Banquet Server & Bar Tender, had a chance to DJ at a Indian Wedding, Latin Parties, normally hire DJ's that specialize in International Events.
Do you bring your own equipment? Yes, I bring my Own equipment, my assigned DJ's have there own Equipment also, or they can rent equipment from my other DJ's.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? Special equipment can be added with an extra charge, most DJ's rent Lasers, Bubble Machines, Disco Ball, Lighting, etc. My assigned Club DJ's don't use these items on a regular basis.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? Require only 1 hour to set up equipment, Normally arrive 2 hours early, need 1 hour to set up and 1 hour for my sound check and get dressed, might return home or call my DJ's if there's a equipment problem. Please have Site or Couple provide a Table.
Do you have any extra space requirements? Space requirements not a problem, average DJ need a Table and electricity to begin each event.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? Only Emcee whenever requested by the Bride, I'll talk to interact with the guest (Electric Slide, Cha, Cha Slide, etc). Soon as I receive the Program I can announce everything Bride request.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? If the Bride states in the Contract my DJ's required to have a "Meal" I'll tell them to play Jazz music while eating. (No Breaks).
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks? If my Wedding Planner calls me and states that the DJ is playing recorded music on his or her break. I'll bring my equipment and send the DJ home, I'll make a "Note" of this and inform all DJ's.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? I have several Replacement DJ's for each event, excellent Customer Service and Professional. I'll Format the Music and instruct and Train all DJ's.
What is your overtime rate? Overtime rate $50 to $100 per hour, economy and gas, travel. Wedding Planner also provides assistance in Overtime rates sometimes the rate may start at $0 to $100 per hour depending on the DJ.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? With the Economy and Gas, we might $1 to $2 per mile. Wedding Planner will delete that Charge and provide transportation for the DJ's.

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? Depends on what the Bride is requesting, I'll set up an appointment with 2 or 3 Photographers to allow the Bride to choice the best person to take pictures.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? Budget will dictate alot of things, sometimes Photographers have to bring a few assistants to set up Softlight, Candlelight, Overcast, etc. Yes, we can provide those services.
Is your media preference film or digital? My Photographers can provide (Film, Digital).
How many photographers do you work with? I have a Networking List of 6 Photographers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes, I'll help my Wedding Planner set the room, Table & Chairs, Brief my Photographers, set up my DJ Equipment, provide Customer Service and Clean up and Thank the Bride & Groom, Family.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? I'll Book Photographers for 1 assigned Wedding, if the Photographer cannot complete the Wedding I'll locate the Professional contracted Photographer to stay til the end of the Ceremony.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Provide Bride a list of 2 Photographers in case of an Emergency, I'll book a Photographers as a Banquet Server with Catering. $10,000 or $20,000 Wedding will have 2 Photographers.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Photographer will show case his or her equipment with the Bride and provide a demonstration on how the Camera works, etc.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Photographers will always have back-up equipment in case of a malfunction, going to get that in writing.
Do you charge hourly or full day? Price of Photographers will depend on Wedding Planner or the Budget of the Bride, depends on how many guests are invited.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Hourly rate, $50 to $100 per hour, depending on Wedding Planner cost may change $0 to $100 per hour.

Do you charge for travel? Economy & Gas, have to charge for travel, Wedding Planner will delete that charge and provide transportation.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Depends on the amount of Proofs, Photographer will explain to the Bride exact date to receive Proofs.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Photographer will receive a list from the Bride reference Proofs, (thumbnails, CD-ROM, Contact Sheets, Website, etc).
How long can the client keep the proofs? Photographer and the Bride will set up a time limit.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Photographer and the Bride will sign a contract on Copyrights.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Photographer and the Bride will sign a contract on publishing rights.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Photographer and the Bride will explain the procedure on providing Digital File, Negative, and copies of negatives, while signing a contract.
Will images be available for viewing online? Photographer will ask the Bride about the Online Gallery.

Do you support or cater to any specific religions? We provide support to specific religions, have to be careful, all cultures to things different, example: Jewish Weddings are special everything has to be Blessed.
What sizes of weddings have you coordinated in the past? Over the years at my Hotels, 1,000 Indian Wedding, Banquet Halls 100 to 500 guests. Had to Dee-Jay at 2 Weddings in the same building and help re-set the room.
Which venues have you worked at or are familiar with? throughout the years I've set up Hotel Banquet Halls for 2,000 to 4,000 guests, Weddings, Parties, Proms, Special Events, Sporting Events, Wedding Receptions, each Venue is time consuming and it's important to have a Professional Staff to ensure the Event starts on time. Vendors must coordinate and arrive in a timely manner, important to have a meeting the day before to go over last minute details to eliminate confusion.
