Description: Simple, non-religious wedding ceremonies, commitments, elopements and vow renewals. Each ceremony customized for each unique couple, with a variety of samples, readings, vows, and options to consider. I have been performing ceremonies since 2009, and bring both a sense of humor and sincerity with me. I specialize in the non-religious wedding, and while I respectfully decline to personally perform any religious texts or references, I welcome any readings by the bride, groom, family members or friends that they choose. I enjoy helping make every wedding ceremony meaningful and reflect the individuality of the couple and their relationship - that is what a wedding is about, after all! Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site? Yes, I only perform non-religious weddings.
What is your attire for the ceremony? Formal, or fitting with the theme of the wedding.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows? Yes. I offer sample ceremonies and always encourage couples to customize and choose wording that reflects them and their relationship.
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired? Yes!
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose? I have compiled a list of non-religious readings, but do not limit selection to these.
How long are your ceremonies? Typically about 10-15 minutes; shorter or longer as the couple wishes.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done? No
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals? Yes
Do you supply a sound system? No
