We asked wedding planner Katie Martin of Elegance and Simplicity, 301-656-5560, eleganceandsimplicity.com, what she would do if she could plan a wedding according to her own vision, and not that of her clients. "I’d completely transform Woodend Sanctuary’s grove, a lush, tree-lined space, into an ‘outdoor fair,’" says Martin. The grove "can be used for so much more than just ceremonies, because it’s open and level," she says. "I’ve always wanted to stage after-dinner dancing down there."
