Alternative Sightseeing
Out-of-towners can see the sights from a classic trolley or tour bus, but we’d suggest something a little more exciting. City Segway Tours, 877-734-8687, citysegwaytours.com, is the 21st-century way to ride scooters—and we think it’s the best way to see a city. After a quickie tutorial on proper Segway use, a professional guide will lead you around town. Sights include the Georgia State Capitol, the Sweet Auburn Historic District, Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium and the CNN Center. Cost: $70 per person for a 3-hour tour.
