Guests who’ve never visited the "Windy City" now can see the sights from a 2,000-plus horsepower speedboat. Seadog Cruises, seadogcruises.com, a lakefront and Chicago River tour company, offers a 30-minute Speedboat Lake Tour that whizzes participants past the lakefront at up to 50 mph, and slowly sails past Museum Campus and Magnificent Mile for closer views of Chicago’s skyline and landmarks. The 75-minute River and Lake Architecture Tour offers a more in-depth overview of the city’s architecture. Cost: $20.95 and up per person, with discounts given to kids under the age of 12 (ages 4 and under ride for free). Reservations are suggested and can be made online.
