The Idea: Shuttle guests between ceremony and reception sites with group transportation. Joelle and Doug Gilmour called upon the Mackinaw Trolley Company's bright red cars to transport their guests from their ceremony at the groom's uncle's private lakeside home to their country-club reception in Harbor Springs over two miles away. "Since it was an outdoor summertime wedding, the trolleys blended in well with the beautiful setting and made everything feel casual and fun," says Joelle.
Why We Love It: Guests will be glad they don't have to worry about finding a parking spot—plus it gives them a chance to mingle with other guests pre-wedding.
