Seating Charts
"Using a seating chart can cut down on the labor and expense of escort cards, and can be a really creative addition to a wedding," says Natalie Stemp of Sagewood Weddings and Events, 703-967-9575, sagewoodweddings.com. Guests find their name and table on an alphabetized display chart, an easy-to-read diagram that gives them a sense of the room. (Use clever table names—they will be easier to remember than numbers.) Guests can then find their table name displayed on the corresponding tabletop. Sagewood created this seating chart for a recent client's fall wedding. The design was perfect for the event's "woodland celebration" theme.
