The appeal of an all-inclusive beach hotel is obvious—unlimited food, drink, activities, and relaxation, with no wallet-carrying required. Amazing all-inclusive resorts aren't hard to find in Mexico, but what if you have another exotic destination in mind? We've rounded up our favorite alternative all-inclusive experiences.

Ras Kutani, Tanzania

Nine thatched-roof beach cottages outfitted with locally made furniture, hammocks, and wraparound verandas overlook the Indian Ocean at Ras Kutani, an intimate retreat perched on a stretch of white-sand beach 35 miles south of Dar es Salaam on Africa's eastern coast. The property also has four secluded hillside suites with private plunge pools—perfect for honeymooners. Spend the day frolicking in the ocean or the freshwater lagoon, followed by a romantic massage or sunset walk along the deserted beach. At the outdoor dining area, the resort's chefs serve up delicious Pan-African cuisine using local fish and crustaceans.

Good to know: Ras Kutani is owned by the Selous Safari Company, which also runs two all-inclusive safari camps in Tanzania, the Selous Safari Camp and Jongomero Camp, in case you want to follow up your beach vacation with a safari adventure.

From $265 per person per night (Ras Kutani); includes all meals, drinks, and equipment for snorkeling, kayaking, and boogie boarding
