There's a reason why there's so many Maggie brides in the wedding world, and it lies within the label's classic confections, accessible sort-of style, and old-world romantic vibe. Maggie Sottero's Fall 2016 collection showed more of what the designer does best — lots o' lace, timeless silhouettes, and uber-romantic elements. There's definitely going to be some happy Maggie girls out there...
"We're inspired by the new traditional bride," said Maggie Sottero's creative director, Kelly Midgley, when we interviewed her last year. "When we begin designing a collection, we channel her desires and dreams into each wedding dress. From our initial design concept to the final fitting, our commitment to impeccable styling and incomparable fit remains our guiding principle. We imagine every step of a bride's journey — from her first fitting to the moment she says 'I do.'"
Any bride would love to say "I do" to one of Maggie Sottero's wonderful wares. The wedding dresses from her latest collection feature some Sottero mainstays — A-line frocks, luxurious laces, and ball gowns — but elevated with darling new details, like sparkly beadwork, unexpected necklines, and revised illusion necklines, dancing with exquisite embroidery and dainty florals. Our favorites? A creamy lace frock with delicate embroidered blooms resting on the shoulders of an illusion neckline, a glitzy voluminous A-line dress glittering with Victorian-inspired silver beadwork along its illusion sleeves, and a fantastic frock with a plunging V-neck peeking out behind a panel of sheer tulle. If you're already a fan of the much-loved label, these new nuptial dresses will without-a-doubt put a smile on your face. And if you've never seen one of Sottero's gorgeous gowns, take a gander yourself and you'll no longer wonder why so many brides obsess over this wildly popular bridal brand.
