Ashleigh Banfield, the striking, famously bespectacled journalist, is never one to shy away from a challenge. She has reported on-air for NBC and MSNBC, was among the first to go to Afghanistan to cover the war on terror, and has been dubbed a "ballsy broadcaster" by Cosmopolitan. So it's no surprise that when she and fellow New Yorker Howard Gould, a financial-derivatives executive, decided to marry, choosing their site wasn't as simple as booking a Manhattan hotel.
