Two concepts, dragon and fae, or masquerade

Alright, so I feel awkward as I am the male. Here is the thing I am trying to figure out. We both love the idea of a masquerade wedding. However we are having a little trouble figuring out what to do about the kids that will be there. In our view the masquerade would be focused on the dancing and mingling, but we want to keep the children away from idle mischief. What, aside from the dances and party would be fun for everyone o all ages?

Secondly, we are also interested in a blending of fae and dragon styles as these are our personal interests and connections. This one has me totally stumped on where to even begin. There are gorgeous outfits that we have come across, but we know there is a LOT more to a wedding than just the clothes. Any assistance would be grandly appreciated.
