southeast brides?

Okay... I'm jealous, but there is no way I'll make it to the coast. But we have some southeasterners here, I know it.

I'm talking, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia (and maybe a little Louisiana and Florida).

Anyone interested in a meet up in Atlanta?

To New Orleans:
Total Estimated Time: 14 hours 8 minutes

Yeah... I think I have to say that maybe us Mid-atlantic people are just too far out of here. You guys could probably get more in the south if you don't come up by us. SIGH :)

even though VA is considered a southern state... the travel is too far! .

Can't wait to be  a Mrs.

I know ... we just don't have a good central place. N'awlins gets the Texas bit. Augusta, GA might be a cover for the eastern bit. South is just too big to have a nice center.

BUT we could plan on having a couple bits and having them simultaneously... then we could call each other while we're at ours.

How far are we southern brides willing to travel. 6 hours? What's in that radius?

Decatur is in my drive zone.

(What's IN Decatur? I mean, I know Huntsville has some fun stuff, but what does Decatur have? I've been there once and can't even answer that)

sorry cat...i just thought of a more central location...i dont think there is very many things to do in decatur...i would say galtinburg,tn b/c there is tons and tons of stuff to do there but it probably way to far for people in tx....perhaps biloxi,ms(not sure if im spelling right) or gulf shores,al

Of course, with few things to do there, the location becomes less of a distraction to the true purpose of us getting to meet.
