Hey ladies, I've been pretty good about starting a fitness regimen and I run about two to three times a week (slowly) but I can go for about 20 minutes without needing to walk. My question is what can I do to tone my abs, thighs and upper arms? Any suggestions? My energy level is high but I want to be more toned, especially in the tummy area. All advice and suggestions are welcomed.
I love doing the ab solo, even if you gym dosn;t have one you can do it in a public park (tennis courts are nice get to that in a min). You simply lay down on your back and get a 5lb medicine ball and toss it as you are rising up it adds resistance to your abs which means you can do less of them and get better faster results. After doing it for a few times, 100 5lbs crunches is cake and then you can move up to a 7lb ball then later into a 9 lb (if you get that high i havn't yet)
(back to tennis courts) And the best thing that i have ever done for my legs was squats go to a tennis court that are 4 courts long. Squat the length of it and run back and squat it again and run and do that 2 times while working out that day. One time when you get there and the second time before you leave 3 times a week if not more if your body can handle it (remember to listen to it) So you may not be able to do it, so start off slowly and build up.
For arms to some butterfly curls, will tone your arms without bulking them.
Lets not all get caught up in our wedding. Remember we should not only be planning for a our wedding but more so we should be planning for our marriage. More so then fighting over shades of peach, tuxs, cake flavors and only god knows what else. Because the next morning it is over, guests are gone the flowers have died the cake well lets face it 1/2 of it was tossed out. Cinderella is still a maid, the limo is now a pumpkin And there is life to face ok after wild crazy monkey sex for 7 nights straight, lets not kid out selfs there are priorities After its all gone there's still bills to pay and a job to go back to
Dumb question, toss it up and catch it as you go down? I am also trying to tone my abs and I walk and run for 40 mins on my treadmill. I am in a class and here are a few things we have done. A simple one,lay on your back and move your legs like a bicycle, you can feel it. Lay on your back and put one of those big ab balls between you legs (legs straight out) and lift up. That one is hard and you can feel it! Or lay on your back and have your legs in the air but bent (kinda like your sitting) put the big ab ball between your legs again. You can either lift you head chest up toward your legs or squeeze you legs and feel it.Hope this isn't confusing!
