We are having a sit down meal we are offering chicken and prime rib, it was actualy cheaper to do it that way then a buffett. We are doing a i guess limited cash bar you would say we are offering to spend 1500 on liquor  and not a penny more after that our guests are going to have to fork it over!

I am truly enjoying the planning, in fact, Aaron keeps teasing me that I am going to have nothing to do after the wedding and I am going to need a new hobby!  LOL

I am just feeling a little overwhelmed with Christmas and the wedding, my parents are renovating our house and when I say renovating, i mean all new floors 3 additions, finishing the basement (my room)... completley new kitchen.  Its a little crazy over here.

The dress fiasco put me behind for those of you who didnt hear my vent, the bridal shop messed up and i had to find a brand new dress a couple weeks ago and luckily i found a wonderful seamstress who will have it in my closet by monday, ready-to-go! Ill show some pictures!

Ill show you all some of my jewelry...

I dont plan on wearing a necklace, I just feel like its so elegant and instead I am wearing some chandelier earrings...

All my girls and me have matching bracelets... i love them!

I could actually use some help, i have my second hair trial (the first wasnt so good) next week and I was wondering if anyone had any really cute half up- half down hairstyles... with my tiara and I am wearing a small veil. Here is me, maybe that would help, my hair is a little bit longer now.

I love love love, that dress!!! I really like Jasmine dresses myself. You'll look great! I have a great picture of a 1/2 up 1/2 down picture in my binder, unfortunally not on my laptop, lol. Something like, a side part, with the hair pulled up high enough that you could curl it and pin them and curl the rest of the hair thats down.

Also, I like that ring you're wearing, any reason behind it or do you just like it? The chandelier earrings will def look good with that dress, and they're not so big that they take away from it! You'll look great!

My name is Stacy and I just turned 20. Engaged at 19. Will be 21 when married, and my FH is currently 27! Yes, a 7 year difference. :)
We were good friends for about 3 years prior to dating, dated for a year before getting engaged, and (wow - MATH!) are having a 2 year engagement which we both find very practical (and so do our folks).

We'll be moving in together in about 6 months, so we'll live together about a year before the wedding and I have no doubts we'll be together forever because we are BEST freakin' friends in every sense of the term! :D

Our wedding is tentatively planned for May 3rd, 2009. We haven't made a decision on where yet but ideally it will be outdoors. Our theme is going to be somewhat inspired by Beauty and the Beast/classic Disney fairytales.

Our first V-day

Wow! For every place in England there must be a place in the US with the same name. They must be quite different cities though!

Catherine,

Hey, thanks!  I love the fabric of those dresses, they are so light and airy.  The ring was a gift from FH.  Its kinda special beyond that because its a smoky quartz and i have loved those rings forever, fh didnt know at all went to the jewelry store and came home with it on the anniversary of our engagement.  It was winderful and just proved to me how much he knows me, kinda made everything solid to me if you know what i mean... can i see your dress?

Aww thats awesome about the ring! I don't have my dress yet, I havent even started shopping yet. My weddings isnt till feb '10, so it might be a little too early. Me and my MOH might go for fun anyways. I just realized your wedding date is in a few weeks! You must be so excited. Do you have everything done pretty much?

Hey guys! I'm new and I just wanted to stop by...

My name is Tess and I'm getting married in October 2009. I'm 17 now but I'll be 19 when we get married. I graduated highschool early and am getting a headstart in college.

I'm really glad I found this board!!

Kudos on getting a headstart with college - I did the same thing and I'm way
ahead, even with a double major!

I'll be planning my wedding during school and getting married 2 weeks after finals and graduation so that should be fun!

We're in the same boat! Ill be graduating the fall of '09 but teh real graduation isn't till Jan, I have a wedding in February. I'm going to schol for elementary ed and english, so I'll be doing student teaching that last semester. I might lose my mind, but hopefully having the wedding will keep me motivated! I can't WAIT to be done and get started with the next part of my life. Which my friends think I'm nuts, they cant understand why I'm so anxious to get outta college, haha.

I know - I just want to get out of school and move on! I don't know what I'm going to do - I've got a year to figure that out, but I'm tired of going to class! And I'm not one of the students that goes out a lot (FH and I have to agrue over who drives home, so we just give up!) so I really don't have anything to make me miss college!

I have just over a yr left..YES! We are one week away from finals and I'm definitely not ready for that! But we are going to go pick out a ceremony site in Colorado in January and I'm excited! FH doesn't seem as enthused as me, but thats a boy for yah!
