I need some ideas for my wedding colors and flowers for a March wedding...I am totally stuck right now not knowing what colors work for that time of year...here in Utah it's still kind of winter in March, but I guess March is considered spring? Any ideas would be SO helpful!!
Hi Megzdiamond, my wedding is march 31 2007. My colors are black, ivory and red. My bouquet is black magic roses. The BMs bouquets are ivory roses and hydrangeas. The Church will be mostly roses and the reception will be all roses.
Peonies, tulips, roses, calla lillies, stephanotsis, freesia, lilacs, sweet peas, hydrangeas, etc. Your florist should have more flower options available.
Anything pastel looks great in Spring. Also think about bright pinks, darb reds, etc. Just pick something YOU like and go with it. It will look great! I got married in June and my colors were black, white & light pink. Not your TYPICAL summer wedding colors, but I loved them and look great!
You should probably go for more pastel, or even vibrant blues like delfinium, but when it comes to flowers, that is where you define the season. I would use tulips, sweetpea, lilly of the valley ... any kind of SPRING flowers.
