I am a August 12th bride too! Everything is coming together nicely. I got all my guest hotel rooms reserved, my hair trial and color is today, as well as confirming rented chairs and tables for the reception. I have been making lists of things to do and it sure does feel good check the things off. I am sure I am forgetting something.
My FH clothes are almost finished and my dress should arrive this week. I got my jewelry this last weekend as well as my attendants gifts.
The only bad thing is the heat. I had planted flowers for my table centerpieces/favors about 2 weeks ago. The 100 degree weather we have had the last couple of days has cooked my poor flowers. Not all of them have died but I am going to have to replace at least half of them. I hope it cools off at least a little since we are having an outdoor ceremony and reception. I only have one week and 1 weekend before my FIL's show up to stay at my house! I have so much to do yet.
