How much is enough???

Hello ladies. I just looked at my wedding registry to see if ANYTHING had been purchased, and half of the registry is completed, including all 12 place settings of china. I’m thrilled, but it’s two months until the wedding (June 18th). How far in advance do guests tend to purchase wedding gifts? I know some people have mentioned they found things not on the registry they thought I’d love and some guests have let us know they are giving us a cheque. Since half of everything is gone, should I add more items? Does it matter if the registry runs out of stuff? We’re looking at 200 guests here. I just can’t think of anything else I’d want. Is it safe to assume about half of the guests have shopped already?
