When to give wedding party/parents gifts?

Is there a certain time, like at the rehearsal dinner, to present gifts to our attendants, ushers, and parents? Or, is it more acceptable to give them one-on-one?

Usually they are given at the rehearsal dinner but if you choose to give them their gifts in a one on one environment that would be fine too.

I've always seen the bridal party gifts given at the rehearsal dinner.

I've seen the parents' gifts given then too, but not always. We're giving our gifts to our parents in private, simply because they are very different. Our gift to my parents is more extravagant and don't feel that it's appropriate or necessary for everyone to see that.

Your choice.
