Hello brides to be Smile

I have a question about registering for China...

My FH and I both went to culinary school and are very particular about the china we want. We want a Rosenthal pattern (Hutschenreuther Bone China) but are having a very difficult time finding a retailer that carries the pattern and/or allows us to register so that our guests will be able to purchase china for us.

And, how have you communicated the registries to your guests? I know that it is considered rude to send out an email stating where you are registered - b/c it implies that you expect a gift.
