My Favorite Part of Wedding Traditions

My favorite part was walking down the aisle with my dad in my fairy tale princess wedding gown, you know I was always dreaming about that, it was absolutely magical I felt like I was floating. That magical walking on the aisle used to symbolize a little freedom a woman had in her marriage, the father of the bride was giving the bride to the groom, handing over the ownership of her to the groom and his family. Luckily, times of change, the brides' escort is a matter of choice. I didn't have any special feeling until I physically walk down the aisle; you know the people from the entire church turns around to look at you, which is the only time I remind myself not to pass out. Those witnesses gathered in the wedding maybe overwhelming, but they play the important role, they help make the union officially banding. Families of the bride and groom's stand on the separate sides during the ceremony because each representative should celebrate the bride and groom and welcome the guests.
