Question for those who have not changed their name: Posted: May 3, 2008 11:53 AM; Ok so my birthday is coming up and I am getting a little frustrated with my family. (I of course love my family very very much.) They all know I have not changed my last name, and still don't know if or when I will change it (we've been married for 10 months). I have been getting cards for Mrs. married name and my favorite "Mrs DH's name married name". I told them before I got married and every family gathering since, that I will be keeping my maiden name and maybe adding my DH's name later. My sister is the only one who seems to be listening! Anyone else having this much of a problem with it?
I simply refuse to have anyone force me into changing my name.
