i hope i'm posting this in the right section...i'm interpreting the "your relationship" part of the title of this board to be a separate entity from the "sex" part, lol.
i know i can't be alone in this, so i thought i'd start a sort of support thread for those of us who are separated from our future spouses by distance for the time being, whatever the distance is, whatever the reason.
share a little about yourselves! where are you and your other half located (if you're comfortable sharing), or how far apart? how often do you get to see each other? what's your timeline and/or plans for "closing the gap" (as FH and i like to call it). what do you do when the going gets tough?
i'm not sure i want to share my specific location yet, but lets just say i'm in BFE, northern midwest, US, and he is elsewhere in the northern midwest that is somewhat less BFE, lol. we have a bout 7 hours by road in between us. flying is quicker, only an hour in the air, but OMG is it expensive! we see each other for a long weekend every three weeks or so...in fact, by that schedule, he should be here right now, but he put it off till next weekend so he can stay an extra day, with the free day off for memorial day from his job. long wait this time around. but then the next wait is short, only two weeks. i'm going to him then. my MIL (er, my first/late husband's mother...glorious thing about widowhood with children, if you marry again, you get to have two sets of ILs...) is coming out to look after my son while i go. it's great that she's so supportive, and of course looks for any excuse to "take over" where her grandson is concerned.
anyway, his current lease is ending at the end of the summer, so we're looking to rent a place big enough for three adults and a toddler (since his younger brother is staying with him ATM). if my house hasn't sold by then, i'll probably be moving anyway. i'm tired of the distance. i miss him so much every day. we have skype, and are in some kind of contact every day, almost all the time. and i'm a firm believer in the power of snail-mail, so i send him little notes every so often. and he sent me flowers a little over a week ago. :: sigh :: i can't wait till the gap is closed.
Let's start by counting down the details of the wedding dresses online which will hit the runway in 2012. A fantastically fresh detail which designers have incorporated in their creations is the Purple Bridesmaid Dresses with slit. If you would like to feel sexy, daring, fashion forward and oh-so-hot on your wedding day, choose a bridal dress with a front slit. Some of the designers who already incorporated front slits in the Green Bridesmaid Dresses that they created are Angel Sanchez, Hayley Paige and Ines di Santo.
